Resting state is the approved faceted crystal. Only the hover changes. Gap keeps the crystal and opens a 10px channel along every edge. The other treatments turn the stained glass into a normal photograph.

Each glass facet translates 10px off its shared edges. Lead lines dissolve on the same curve while the photograph clip grows with the exploded hull.

The crystal is the photograph. Twenty-four silhouette points interpolate into a rectangle while the glass and lead lines fade on the same curve.

Peel
Caps lift first, then the side faces slide away, then the front pane dissolves. The window opens a beat later, after the glass has started to leave.

Side and cap facets recede into the front face. The lead lines expand outward with the opening window, then dissolve. The front face brightens and grows until it is the photograph.
